MOT Type 1 is a variety of crushed stone often used in the construction of roads (hence its name being an acronym for Ministry of Transport).
Crushed concrete comprises asphalt waste from building projects, which can be reused. The angular surfaces mean it is ideal to be compacted or rolled to form concrete foundations, roads or floors as it makes a stable, interlocking base.
Tarmac Planing
Tarmac road planings are created when a tarmac road or footpath’s surface layer is removed, and they are sometimes known as road scrapings or road scalpings.
